As well as a renewal quotation on my existing policy account, I received two further quotes from Esure through a comparison website. The three quotes were for very different amounts. I contacted the online chat support to obtain information about the different quotes and to check whether there were policy/cover differences. The online person was utterly unable to comprehend my questions and replied with standard pre-prepared answers which were unrelated to the subject of my questions. They became clearly bored and grumpy when I repeated my questions. Instead, I used Google and found the explanation - which was so simple I’m amazed the customer person couldn’t explain it. No wonder that some jobs will be replaced with AI fairly soon…
